Coaching sessions are not “lessons.” They’re personal, heartfelt conversations designed to help you evaluate the last week, clarify goals for the next week, get motivated, and be accountable to yourself.

 

  • Targeting Struggles, Celebrating Successes:  What went well last week? What didn’t? Your coach listens to you and answers your questions, providing the support you need to stay focused.
  • Achievable, Weekly Goal Setting:  We’ve found that most action items fall under 1) Nutrition, 2) Behavior, and/or 3) Plateaus. Your coach helps you set goals, with a clear direction for the upcoming week.

We’re often asked, “Which diet do you promote?” Some expect to hear an answer like “a Mediterranean, paleo, or keto diet,”  for example. We’re not tied to any specific diet. Our “Insulin-Smart Eating Method” is based on one thing—how what you eat and drink personally impacts your insulin. We help fine-tune your individual strategy with behavior adjustments for achieving your goals.

  • The Insulin-Smart Eating Method:  Insulin-Smart Eating is our proprietary nutrition method focused on reversing insulin resistance and achieving lifelong insulin control through 1) understanding the science-based truths about nutrition and meal planning, 2) becoming a mindful and intuitive eater, and 3) adjusting as needed for individual success.
  • Deliberate “Unlearning”:  Sounds strange, right? Unlearning? Many times people can’t move forward until they’ve shaken off the chains of dogma that have hampered their progress for years. Unlearning is liberating. We help you seek and find nutritional truths.
